Coach Gaby
Coach Gaby’s goalkeeping journey began at age six with US Joué Lès Tours, where his natural reaction speed and bravery in goal quickly set him apart. By age ten, he earned a spot in the youth academy of French Ligue 2 club Tours Football Club (TFC).
Spending eight consecutive years (U10 to U18) inside a professional French academy, Gaby received high level, position specific training designed for elite goalkeepers. His curriculum focused on mastering core technique, diving mechanics, distribution under pressure, command of the box, and spatial awareness, alongside the crucial mental toughness the position demands.
Today, Coach Gaby leads youth goalkeeper development in San Francisco. He translates years of professional French training into dynamic, detail oriented sessions that help young goalkeepers elevate their game, refine their technique, and play with unflappable confidence.
I founded the Conscious Athlete Academy because I saw a gap in how youth players are being developed. Many kids play on autopilot, but few are taught how to think the game.
